since its been kinda hard to find numbers in once place, maybe here can serve so we can see how our acorns are doing compared to others. if anyone post a screenie or numbers will try to update this post with your numbers best I can. zen protocol only

please post this info: ACORN MODEL, BITSTREAM VER, TEMP, MHZ, MH/s, VCCint, what its in (x4, x2, m2), fail percentage

there seem to be some "sweet spot" frequencies for the 215+ on 012d.. try 195, 208. these are numbers from discord, and many people have had good luck.. lower temps and lower fails.

16 acorns in one rig? lol, nice!

all in x4 nests?

temps and voltages are all over, any mods done or is it just random placement in the rig thats causes that. or just the silicon lottery?

im slowly adding thermal pads to mine. just old pads scrounged around from the the various junk parts i have lying around, and applied mostly under the voltage reg chip between the acorn and nestx4 pcb for now.

Can't really go any faster. 334 mhz gives invalid shares and voltage drops to 0.97!

All my 215+ are stable at 190 mhz. Temperatures and voltages are as bad as 0.91v and 80c at times, but they're stable. Not really worth the effort of tweaking them more imo.

Might have to try the "sweet spot" numbers to see if true (12d is available on discord?). When 174 was unstable, I settled for 172 and has been running for days with no issue. Hoping the Nest x4 will help (mobo is junk), else they're gettin dunked in mineral oil. :D

Tossed my acorns into an x4 with the same crummy case and mobo, twice the hashes :D I may try higher, but I don't feel like a reboot just yet.

Ive slowed mine back down due to heat induced crashes. I need to rework the rig but waiting heatsinks! Have been working on getting accepted shares.

I don't think i'll be using my GigaByte board again, or maybe it is a good test... I don't want to fry anything else though. Going to have to unwatch in favor of my mental health lols at least until I get some results from submitting to their contact form.
:):) Yay! I called & SQRL says they'll send me some replacements! .. There also may be some delay with the x4s now. And cvp hasn't been forgotten, maybe soon to ship.
Back in action with the new x4 nest (Same mobo). It can probably run a bit quicker, but the heat goes over 90c sometimes. results.JPG
Without extra heat 165 mhz is stable across the board
